Each year, the number one question that I get asked is what is companion planting, and how do I know what to companion plant together? It’s really quite simple once you know it! Companion planting is exactly what it sounds like – planting different types of plants together in the same bed to benefit one another including improving plant health, repelling pests and enhance your overall garden productivity. A commonly known companion planting combination is planting basil with tomatoes because they make each other taste even better! (Who knew that was even possible, right?).
