Our Patio Reveal!
Guess what?! It’s finally here!!! Our patio reveal is officially just a few words and scrolls away, and I cannot wait to share all of the details of this space with you. For reference, we bought our forever home in 2022, and we’ve been slowly updating the space to make it our style with paint and fixtures. The outdoor space has been on our list of things to do, and I’m so excited that it is finally complete. It’s been over a year of thinking and planning! Let’s get into the details below.
Firstly, I am so thrilled on how it turned out and all of the pieces are from Hauser! If you’re not familiar with Hauser, they are a Canadian company that is third-generation owned, and operated out of Ontario. They have sustainability in mind with all of their pieces, implementing a zero-waste strategy! Anything that is not used, or re-used gets recycled following Hauser’s environmental mandate. In addition to all of this, Hauser prioritizes the environment by using hot melt glues and powder-coated technology which result in zero VOC emissions, and every metal product contains a minimum of 60-100% recycled material – Hauser knows what it means to be sustainable and environmentally conscious, and I am so thrilled to feature their products in my home. The Details
Our patio space features two primary spaces – our seating area, and our dining area. In our seating area, all of the pieces are from The Huron Collection in the colour Pebble Grey. In this space, we have the Huron Sofa, Huron Club Chairs, Huron Coffee Table and the Huron End Table. One of my favourite parts about these pieces is that they’re made from teak, meaning you can easily seal them to keep that beautiful warm wood tone for years to come, and stop them from aging into a silvery tone. Additionally, we got the 10’ Square Cantilever Umbrella in the colour Canvas Natural and two Large Drift Ivory Planters to round off the end of the sofa and club chair. This space is so cozy, and has been made into the perfect set up to enjoy time together outside with friends & family.
In our dining space, we also furnished with products from Hauser, which we are just obsessed with! In this space, we have the Kingsley Bate Hyannis Extension Dining Table and four of the Kingsley Bate Marin Side Chairs (we have two Arm Chairs too!). These chairs are so ideal for our family as we also have a pool (more on this soon!), and these chairs are the perfect material for post-pool meals and snacks as they dry so quickly and not too hot on the bums.
