Modern Gender Neutral Clothing by Sloane West Supply
I remember hanging out with my sister in-laws a couple of years ago talking about children’s clothing. They both have two children and the older ones were getting ready to go to kindergarten. They brought up back to school shopping and said “you walk into a store and you either go to one side for boys or the other side for girls. One side is pink and sparkly, the other side is blue and truck prints.” One of my nephews loved wearing pink and shiny shirts and found it confusing that pink shiny things were on the "girl's side" and nothing pink and shiny could be found on the "boy's side".
As a parent, it can be extremely hard to navigate questions our children have about the different gender experiences society has created for them. Our society has made us think that we should dress a certain way and be a certain way. The experience my family had taking their children shopping made us all say to each other, “we should start a gender neutral clothing store for kids!” We wondered, "Why are clothing stores divided into separate sections for boys and girls?" Well…clearly our idea to start our own children's clothing line never happened...BUT, we're so thankful for Katie, the owner of Sloane West Supply, who did make this happen! Sloane West Supply offers a gender neutral clothing line for kids and we're so excited for you, and your children, to have a look!

Sloane West Supply was born shortly after the arrival of their daughter, Sloane. Katie saw a gap in the market, coming from the fashion industry herself, she knew something needed to change. Sloane West Supply stands for modern, gender free clothing for your children. What does that mean? Their focus at Sloane West Supply is to challenge traditional gender stereotypes and bring you a brand that unites boys and girls, and lets their personalities dictate who they are, not their clothing.
